A photo album of the group at some of our activities

Our biggest trip yet was down to Cornwall in March 2010. We stayed at Lamledra, which looks out across to the Dodman headland. On a bright, cold day we took a break from writing and walked to Gorran Haven

On our days out we like to meet in interesting and varied places. Here we are celebrating our tenth anniversary at Cass Sculpture Park in Sussex.

A walk in bluebell time, May 2002.

Banked blue of bluebells singing
bluer than Aegean, the tide washes in,
hyacinth fresh, wave after wave.
Downland dipping into campion hollows
spilling bluebells down the hill.

Shore Women launch the Anthology, October 2003

Shore Women gathered on Freshwater beach in October 2003 to celebrate the launch of Rewriting the Map. You can find selections from the book on this website.

After a hard day of writing with Vane Women, an evening of synchronised swimming in the lounge at NorthCourt.

NorthCourt is a beautiful seventeenth century manor house in Shorwell on the Isle of Wight.

Here we are at work on a collaborative poem in the Drawing Room during our May Day week-end away in 2002

NorthCourt is an inspiring setting. It has extensive grounds, beautiful gardens, large inviting rooms, and fabulous views of the rolling downs.
